Playing sports on video gaming consoles lets the everyday person who has never played a full contact sport before play with out the aspects of getting hurt or not being the best player on the team. Sports can also be played within virtual worlds just like they can be played in real life. The games are as real as you can get without being in them. Different sports such as hockey, football, and baseball can be played in many virtual environments such as Second Life, Video Games, and other Sim worlds.
